Day 1 Of Preparation For Teachers Day

21st May, Monday....



Today has been a very busy & tiring day at school for me as *we* the Lower Six students have been chosen out of our will to volunteer for the preparation of teachers day.When given a question by me to our teacher in charged of bossing us around as to "why not hired more man power to help us ? " the teacher replied "we do not have enough workers so you guys'll have to do for now"(teacher was just joking haha).It's actually some sort of a custom school tradition for the Lower Six to be participating in giving a helping hand for the preparation of Teachers Day that will be held at our school hall this 25th May that is a Friday just before our school's Mid Year semester break.By the way what we do here is not totally in vein as we will be presented with a cert and some extra points for our curricular activities for our contributions at the end of the year.Hmm...well,all we did today was help the teachers paint part of the hall which the *part* was quiet large to cover considering only a handful of students(around 20 students)came.After painting which wasnt quiet enough for the teachers as they were not satisfied yet,they decided to add some patterns to the wall to make the environment of the hall more cheerful so all of us ended up doing the patterns with the limited skills in arts that some of us have( mE!!) after that we coloured our patterns and that took us 1 hour to finish...just before the school bell rang to indicated that the day for us morning session students has ended...well before we left the teachers provided us with free lunch (fried rice....not bad) as their grattitude for our hardworks.After lunch i went home straight to my chambers for an eternal slumber.
